Kano – Rock N Roller
Seems to be a bit late for UK artists to be using the autotune. It doesn’t represent UK talent and is a poor attempt to breach past the UK market. Kano hasn’t got the swagger of Lil Wanye and the creativity of T Paiiiiiiiin. The video needs to tell a story, its just a load of effects in a studio. It would have been nice to have a different scenery every so often. I can imagine a video like Lupe Fiasco’s Superstar video to fit this song perfect. If it could tell a story about Kano and why he is Rock n Rooooooooooooll. There isn’t anyone else in the video apart from random silhouettes of pole dancers, it doesn’t make scene to me.
On the other hand its a catchy tune and I think it will do a great job in the clubs. It fits the mixed genre songs in the charts right now so he has done a good job!
